Sorry for the extremely long time to respond to this.

It is still affecting one of my systems and changing Java doesn't seem to help.

I did an strace on the rkward process.

The output file is quite big so instead of copy pasting here it can be seen at

I just loaded a library went into its help page with ? and then cklicked on
index and then the crash happened.
