Bug ID: 391587
Summary: Reverse Debugging; record changes in vars at every
step.
Product: rkward
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS: MS Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: R Console
Assignee: rkward-devel at kde.org
Reporter: rain8dome9 at gmail.com
Target Milestone: ---
I hope something like reverse debugging exists in an R. All you really need to
do is write down the changes in variables at every step. str() would be best.
Crash. Automatically highlight vars involved, and user can add more. Var change
window moves highlighted vars to left. Keep scrolling up to catch whenever the
NAs or structure changes show up first and there is my bug 2/3 times. Maybe
this is called record-replay debugging.
