Well, count me ignorant++. Thanks! Although actually the thing I've
been missing more was the hint on git-completion in the doc you linked.
I've been pressed the tab key so often for branch-names, in vain, and
now it's actually working!

So now, I'll be switching branches twice as often, but commit to the
wrong branch half as often (per switch)...
