missing code hinting in script editor

on that matter: the recent fix for Rmd files caused a new problem, namely that 
newly opened script files have no syntax highlighting at all until they are 
saved with a name. it would be better if RKWard would still use R script as 
the default as long as the file is not saved, and then reevaluate that 
decision with respect to the file extension.
