The thing that is processing, here, and apparently never finishing up, is the
PHP backend. This is responsible for generating R code from the dialog settings.

This works, here, so it's not easy for me to track down. Is anybody else reading
this using Suse 10.1? If so, do you see the same problem?

Could you start RKWard with
# rkward --debug-level 3
You will get a lot of output in the terminal. Now hit enter (in the terminal
you started rkward from) a couple of times to get some blank space. Then open
one of the broken dialogs, and change a few settings. Copy all new messages
that appear in the console, and post them here (or, if the messages are too
large, zip the up, and post to the rkward-devel mailing list). Maybe this contains
some hints on what exactly is going wrong.
