Wow, this is great! I just started learning R yesterday, and rkward has been
a great help. I'm new to linux also, (using ubuntu dapper), and I had some trouble
installig. Then I found that rkward is in the edgy repos (i.e., the repositories
for the next version of ubuntu). So I just temporarily enabled the edgy repos,
installed rkward with apt-get, and presto! Works like a charm. Anyway, I want
to express my thanks for this program, it has been very useful. I will keep
notes as I go along, maybe I can eventually contribute somethng to the documentation
effort.
