Antonio Rojas has hit this before and invested into researching the issue, see
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=411690

There seems a patch against doxygen proposed by a doxygen maintainer at the 
linked doxygen issue to test (myself not involved here currently, just 
pointing to what I have seen).
