Hi all,

if you are shipping KDE Application 17.04, please include the following patch
in your packages:

https://cgit.kde.org/kdepim-runtime.git/commit/?h=Applications/
17.04&id=c9ae16363e68d6958db0cd835cb0180b340594b5

It fixes authentication with Gmail (so it can potentially affect many users).
In 17.04 we switched to using the native XOAUTH2 authentication for Gmail
(authenticates via web interface with 2FA support, no need for application-
specific password anymore), but a bug sneaked into the final release that causes
the new authentication configuration to not be migrated so the IMAP resource
cannot log in and thus receive any emails.

Thanks a lot and sorry for the inconvenience,
Dan
