It usually would :)
However the file is invalid, so the cronjob is unable to perform it's work.

merge_ics.py: Error: reading file: Wrong date format 201400710
/home/scmupdate/bin/temp/Releaseschedulekde414.ics

Once the committed file is fixed, it should sort itself out.
