Hi, I took the liberty to push a patch for this migration that is more
up to date than the one I attached in this thread since there were
sources added for the Metalink/HTTP feature we are adding in KGet
4.11, nevertheless this thread is still open for objections and I'm of
course willing to revert the patch if needed. You can check the commit
