Jos van den Oever is still "at the helm" afaik and the mailing list is still 
active, if low volume, at strigi-devel at lists.sf.net .. i could add them to the 
bug, but it would probably be better if those who actually are involved with 
this issue took it up (since you / they will know much more about it than i do 
:)
