The whole release schedule two days before christmas eve is extremely 
inconvenient for me as well. 

It seems we have forgotten to not do any release after December 15th. 

I'm in process of creating the 4.6 branch and the tarballs, but I can't 
guarantee to be finished before my connection drops offline again. Perhaps more 
late tonight.
