No, not really. Apart from Helio's info I know that it fails for Intel 
Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 mesa version 7.7.1 on Kubuntu Lucid. So seems 
like different hardware and mesa versions are affected.

lucky you - I thought Intel hardware does not support blur at all :-)
