One flaw in this story. Microsoft only release once a couple of years. That means people can place the technology with the name and approx. the date of release. It only works well when you don't release too often. 

For example, do you know when 'Ubuntu Dapper' was released and what features it had? So even for release every six months the names are hard to track. If release every two months, names will be a hell.

But i'm not a marketing dude.
