Actually this was my main intention behind building Qt 4.7 :-D
With the configuration I have right now, HTML5 audio/video does not work though. I used the default Arch Linux Qt 4.6 configuration (./configure options) to configure Qt 4.7. This and the fact that I didn't compile Qt's phonon (due to the usage of the default config) probably are the reasons it doesn't work.

That's what I've heard too…
I also heard, that in Qt 4.7 the HTML 5 Audio/Video support in QtWebKit was realised through QtMultimedia and not Phonon, which apparently should solve the problem… (It didn't for me yet :-P)
