How to set up the Plasma Mobile environment?

Hi all,

I am new to the mailing list and to Plasma Mobile in general. I just used the pm-flash tool to flash Plasma Mobile to a Nexus 5X. I was following the guide from the Plasma Mobile website, but on the Tips page, it says to execute "sudo resize-root-partition" and the output from that was "command not found". Is there a more verbose or up-to-date guide I should be referring to?

When I was flashing Plasma Mobile to the phone, I came across something that wasn't mentioned in the guide. At the point when the pm-flash tool outputs "Transfering rootfs..." the TWRP screen shows up on the phone, and asks to swipe right to allow modifications. Is that supposed to happen?

It also didn't go straight to the log-in screen, it boots already logged in. Anyways, to update the system, I went to Discover and tried checking for updates. I think this tries to create a directory /var/lib/apt/lists/partial, but the file system isn't writeable. In the developer settings, there is checkbox to make to file system writeable, but that doesn't work, and on each boot that and Developer Mode is always unchecked. When I tried "sudo mkdir /var/lib/apt/lists/partial" from a terminal, it says "mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/var/lib/apt/lists/partial’: Unknown error 4094".

How can I make the file system writeable?

Thanks in advance,
