Thanks, but I think there's a misunderstanding here somewhere.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that that is only the theming of the buttons, not where on the titlebar they're shown - and used only if you configure GTk applications to use the Breeze theme.

I don't.

I use the Oxygen window decorations with KWin (but QtCurve for my application style), and a non-KDE GTK3+ theme. Yet I notice that the button layout in GTk CSD applications follows the layout I define in the kwindecorations KCM. Dynamically even, at least in Firefox I can see the buttons jump to their new locations when I apply changes to this setting.
