kickoff: keep position in grid

Hi Kickoff developer(s),

The favourites section is my go-to view of the Kickoff application 
launcher. I like to organise the application icons by putting apps of a 
similar domain next to each other. Like, thunderbird and firefox 
together, office apps next to eachother, etc. And keeping them in the 
same spot. I am on a rolling release and it happens often that the icon 
of an updated app changes position. Would it be possible to keep each 
icon in a fixed position in the grid?

PS: Maybe I should have made a feature request but I didn´t see a link 
to such on the wikipage referred by the link on the widget info tab.
