The soft freeze is just there to make sure there's no surprises and
drama on the hard freeze.

 - Make sure we know what repos we're testing
 - No 1000+ line patches
 - No patches that require changes in 4 other repos to work properly

It doesn't need to be tested today more than any other day in master,
the point is that by the time the hard freeze comes by this has been
tested by enough people.
