Lets make sure we use the phrase "soft feature freeze" and the hard
freeze is on beta 1.

Feature freeze over Christmas is going to be annoying, but I don't
think there's much other option to keep the rough schedule and align
with frameworks. Fortunately there's not too much work to do on soft
feature freeze day itself.
