How to set a timer on ksplash.

Hello there, I’m currently trying to make a GiF becomes my splash screen when login. But the GiF stops and turns to desktop while the GiF is nearly halfway finished.
Can I put a timer on the splash screen or somehow make the splash screen last long enough to see the GiF finish? Can I do this by editing my .qml file?
