REVISION SUMMARY
  The dimming only works with pure QML applications based on `ApplicationWindow` which is why it didn't do anything in System Settings. However, in Kirigami Gallery the entire window darkens unexpectedly.

TEST PLAN
  `ComboBox` in Kirigami gallery behaves normally now
