Change settings for docking station

Plasma (or rather kscreen) saves the screen configuration based on the 
hardware connected, so if you set up your screens with a monitor connected 
through a docking station,the next time this hardware combo is detected, it 
will restore this configuration.

In other words, it should work as you describe out of the box.
