Is it possible to know the panel's anchoring?

Hello everyone,

I have implemented a new panel that zooms its applets based on hovering. 
One question, is it possible to access what the user has set as 
anchoring for that panel?

For example I have a panel at LeftEdge and the user can set for that 
panel to be anchored Top,Center,Bottom. Is it possible somehow to access 
that value from inside my panel?
