I was refering to the git plymouth version
(https://cgit.freedesktop.org/plymouth/), not the KDE plymouth splash screen.
The last version tested was 5.7.4.

Can you tell me how verify this?  I've attached a dmesg output displays the
timestamps of the plymouth debug messages during boot.
