david rosca helped me the diff build fine and here are the before and after images.

as you can see the arrangement of the buttons is the same than in the plasma desktop, and some other kcm's. the idea is to have the same style everywhere. 

so if the plasma developers say we want to have an consistent look and feel for all kcm's a ship-it would be nice.
