If I understand well, technically the toolbar like that it's OK but "floating
buttons" not. To be sure we have the same concept of "floating buttons": I
mean buttons anchored at the bottom like the toolbar, but what makes
difference is the fact that user can view the contents behind the row of
buttons (they should look like the Android's FAB: circular buttons with an
icon in the middle). This look let user focus more on the contents, imo.
As attachment I add an image of Android current dialer that have a floating
button in the middle of the bottom area. It's what I'm looking for. However we
should use buttons like it only if the current view suppose one (or two or
three) main action: i.e. add a new note in the notes list in a note taking
app.
