            Bug ID: 344858
Summary: External monitor not recognized if plugged while
                    compiter is suspended
           Product: Powerdevil
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: fussel at fusselkater.org

If you plug in a external monitor, while your computer is suspended, it is not
recognized after waking up the computer. You have to go to Display Settings and
then KDESC does a rescan of connected monitor devices. It would be great, if
KDESC would do a rescan after the computer was suspended.

KDESC-Version is 4.14.4 on Fedora 21

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. suspend your computer without external monitor
2. connect an external monitor
3. wakeup the system

Actual Results:
The external monitor is not recognized

Expected Results:
recognize the monitor
