Hi Martin,
No problem, that's not the critical part, anyway.
I've gone over the list of issues and dropped a few (commented on those). Some of them have to do with libkscreen's behaviour, and if they're to be changed, that needs to be done across all backends.)
I hope Dan is going to have another look if I've done these things correctly though, but at least they're in line with other backends.
I'll address the remaining issues next. Thanks a lot for the review already!

Starting a event loop and not catching a timeout seems brittle to me, especially since this would freeze the application. I'd rather have it fail in this way, then. Perhaps overly careful, but better safe than sorry here.

No, that's a kscreen idiosyncracy again.
Can't say I'm overly happy with this design, but it's in line with what the library expects, and with other backends.

This and the next one are left-overs from the inprocess work. They're really not needed, but are in my branch, so in they will go. (It's separate commits in my branch, anyway.)

Nowhere. :/
This is in line with other backends, though. If it's to be fixed (Dan?), this would need to be done globally. For this backend, it's one of the idiosyncracies of libkscreen we have to live with.

It hung and never arrived on the other side. I'll check again if it's needed, and if so, will get back to you.
