The question is *which* wallpaper. From which activity / or which virtual 
desktop. I would love to see this implemented, but it will not be as trivial 
as this.

We might tell plasma to symlink the last shown wallpaper to a predefined 
location (analogous to .face.icon) or something. Blurring would be problematic 
for that case.
