I thought the plan was to use Flattr (or Oxygen?) icons as a base and
replace with the new icons as we go. That way we'd have something that
functionally relatively complete, even if they change over time as the new
icons are completed. I may be entirely mistaken about that though (which
isn't the most unusual thing in the world).

Anyway to your question, I think we should ship them. If the situation is
like what I describe above (a version of which I'm using using on my
current install) then count my vote for defaulting to it. If the situation
is otherwise then I'm ambivalent.
