PMC crashes when running for the first time

Hello all,

I'm facing this issue in starting/running the PMC in Kubuntu 13.10.
Every time I open the PMC it leads to a crash reporter.

I don't quite understand what's happening over here. I'd be grateful if
someone could help me with this issue.
