These are differnet to the ones we use in Image wallpaper, let me merge something based off your code into KQuickControls so they're all consistent.

To me "enable" means "add some new feature on top", not replace a view.
If you restore the horizontal bars maybe this becomes a set of radio buttons or combo box called view

ideally this could be done in a loader. it'll save instantiating components we can't see.
In general looks really good code, nicely split and uses layouts properly. Thanks for going via the VDG I think it's a lot better for it.
I'll give the rest of the code a proper review in the morning.
