Building kde-workspace (plasma parts) for Plasma 2.x?

we don't plan to. plasma-framework is libplasma + its runtime requirements 
from kde-runtime.

kde-workspace (whatever it becomes; we haven't discussed that yet) will remain 
outside of plasma-workspace.

right now we are working on the libraries and necessary infrastructure: 
frameworks 5, libplasma2, QML2 runtime.

once we have a release of those parts complete, we will shift to making Plasma 
Desktop et al work on top of these new libraries.
