Honestly, I don't see a reason for it to wait - the questions regarding QML 
Tasks are mostly:
 - will it be ready for 4.10?
 - if yes, is it in a public branch so that I can patch it instead of the 
current one. (I see a branch by Shaun R., while the asignee in the feature 
list is Eike)

That one would be fairly trivial to do. A simple popup applet with a list.

Regardless of the above one, what do other ppl think about adding this applet 
to 4.10?
