[GSoC] Plasma File Sender idea

Hello !
There's something I've alway missed in... well, everywhere : a simple way to
send files almost everywhere.
What I mean is that I'd like to copy-paste files from Dolphin (for example) to
my bluetooth connected phone or to my remote SSH connected drive or even to my
printer or to be burned on a CD, DVD or BluRay...
There are ways to do that in KDE, of course but a simple plasma widget in the
task bar that would show up as soon as files are being dragged.
The widget would show different icons per configured device to send to.
Maybe some would show a menu with options (different printers' names,
different ssh accounts,...)
Some entries would ask for more information after the files are dropped (SSH
password, page layout for printing,...)
Some entries could keep files waiting for the device to be present (phone
connected, cdrom inserted), instead of saying "Can't send files to device"...
An entry could also represent multiple connections (Send file to phone could
be by bluetooth or by usb mass storage, whatever comes first)
Of course, this could also be done in the context menu's "Send to" but we're
in a more graphical era.
Also, a graphical widget could show what's available, if there are already
files waiting to be sent and an easy way to configure each entry.
This widget could be a new one or work within the Device Notifier.
Tell me what you think, if that already exists, if someone is working on a
similar project, do you believe it doable for a GSoC.
Cheers,
Detlev Casanova.
