Yup, thats what I'd do. I'd rather have the taskmanager changes merged first - and was the reason for the email.

Features of the library, or applet? For IconTasks I'd need all features merged - but perhaps with refinement :-)
As to the applet, it cant really be merged with the existing tasks applet - and would have to remain separate.

I'll post the diff for review later, I need to strip all the debug out first! :-)

Then you simply cannot pin the application to the taskbar. Is that such a big deal? As a work-around the library could create a temporary .desktop file I suppose...
