thanks for the patch.
I do like the new look (perhaps taking a bit more vertical space
tough, that could be potentially a problem)

code wise, don't like that forever loop. i know that is always
supposed to terminate pretty quickly, but doesn't look that nice.

please can you use reviewboard?
