More likely a Qt Bug. Seems similar to this one which I filed a few years ago and which seems to be out of scope now: http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-1474

I don't have any opinion on the patch.

I suggest you create a Qt only test case and file a bug in Qt.
