Quicklaunch: Getting started with contributing...

Hello, there.

I'd like to get involved with plasma development, but I'm still a bit unsure
about a few details regarding the process of submitting patches. Since the
quicklaunch applet still suffers from a number of issues and is pretty easy to
understand, I thought it might be the right target for my first steps in KDE
source land...

Specifically, I created a patch that (hopefully ;) fixes bugs #200798 [1] and
#225011 [2]. I also felt the urge to fix some indentation / trailing
whitespace issues. Now I'm not quite sure whether I should post patches on
reviewboard for the individual issues separately or in one big patch that
addresses all the issues but might be harder to read / review.

Also, what's the best way for proposing future changes (like changing the flow
of icons to match the one used in the task bar). Should I file a bug report or
would it be better to discuss such things here at the mailing list?

Best regards,
Ingo
