please revert this commit as it is not an acceptable solution to the problem.

it's been stated repeatedly: this needs to be a plasma global option otherwise 
we'll get this same option in numerous individual plasmoids over and over 
again to no benefit.

in future, when committing new features to core plasma components, first bring 
it to plasma-devel at kde.org (reviewboard.kde.org is a good way to do that) so 
that we can avoid similar situations.
