custom animations in plasma

i want to make plasma theme with custom animations

for example i want the busy widget to move linear or change colors instead of spin, and the notification "i" to display progress in linear bar instead of pie chart.

the svg files i found are made to spin only, and the animation itself seems to be coded somewhere in plasma. where can i find the animation part in the code ?
