this doesn't require a usability test to figure out, it requires the author of 
this control panel to fix his code. there's a maintenance responsibility for 
things you put into kde. i'm at the point with this control panel that if it 
isn't improved for 4.4 i will be removing it.

by the by, i don't think the problem is "severe", either. it doesn't cause 
loss of data, it's not impossible to work around, it isn't even something that 
is required to interact with in normal usage. it's an advanced tweaking 
feature and is currently a bit broken in its implementation.
