then you'd have to change it to a vbox for vertical panels.
imho, easier to make a separate applet and put it beside the pager.
oh, but then you lose the "hide it when composite is off" feature.
hmmmm. yeah, maybe that is a reason to put it in there.
and then someone could make a more advanced generic-kwin-effect plasmoid if
they feel like it. if there isn't such a thing on kde-look already.

that or I should someday get around to making that focus-a-panel keyboard
shortcut :)
although with that richtext bar the notes plasmoid might not fit in a
horizontal panel... wonder if I can turn it off

when we were discussing Overview I think the same thing was planned, only the
giant taskbar widget would have a visual difference between windows that are on
the current activity and windows that are just everywhere.
I think it's a feature. :)
