It would be nice if there could be a simpler configuration dialog shown first 
on add like:

Add wireless:

 Network: [ Strongest net   v]
Password: [                  ]
                 [Advanced...]

Add mobile:

 Country: [ From geolocation?  v]
Operator: [                    v]
                    [Advanced...]

nm-applet has country/operator selection for mobile and it's pretty useful.
