Yes this is open source philosophy. Then you will have people to help you
with KDE knowledge.

There is no plan to support QtDBus on S60 since nobody using it before KDE.
We have heard that somebody port it to S60 but
if somebody make that thing up and running on S60 then Qt Software will be
glad to take a look on the merge
request.

That is nice, but this should happen on KDE repo, with KDE folks, Qt
Software people,
tieto guys to make this port a success.
