KRunner kills keyboard?

The keyboard issues I'm having with kubuntu 4.x packages (no response to any 
keypresses anymore at random times) can be 'resolved' by either restarting 
kwin, or by opening a submenu in a contextmenu... not sure if that is in any 
way related to either of your problems though...
