Hi,
Wanting to get back into KDE business but having few time, I got interested in
plasma clocks. As I'll be away for 2 weeks and not wanting this go to waste
I'm throwing here the issues I have found: it's best to have a broader
picture than to just patch each clock and risk to break something else.

PS: I only looked analog and digital
TZ = time zone
SS = System Settings
-----------------------------------
Libplasmaclock - Tooltip
- does not scroll when 2 TZ only. OK when n TZ, n>2 (probably an easy bug)
- when right clicking to access menu, the tooltip pops up above the menu ->
annoying
Clocks own settings
- digital clock does not display "Local" while analogue clock does (when you
have local as default TZ and check "display TZ" in digital clock, it displays
nothing
- analog clock displays currentTimezone() country/location => too long while
digital clock only displays prettyTimezone()
- is the rectangle intended for displaying the string on analog clock?
- displaying TZ in analog in panel does not work unless you have a big panel.
The string anyway is too big. Disable this option for analog in panel?
- digital clock has display problems when displaying date/TZ/...
For example displaying full date + year + TZ on the same line in panel works
when you set it but not when you restart plasma.

- additional wish: blinking dots as option for digit clock?

System Settings (kcm clock) changes
- time change in SS: Plasma clocks do not seem to be updated at the same time
(a digital clock on the desktop is immediately refreshed while the analog
clock on the desktop and the digital clock on the panel takes a few seconds
to be refreshed) Should be immediate and for all clocks.
- timezone in SS: also takes time to propagate to the SS clock. The Plasma
clocks do not get the time change.
[Then TZ is not remembered in SS].

Usability request (checked with Seele)
- the clocks should provide a way to access kcm clocks to correct time and
date. Use case is when no time server set or no connection to the Internet,
user will want to adjust time often.

Those are SystemSettings kcm clock bugs which I don't know what to do about:
redirect to kde-core-devel? 2 have patches but this time stuff is above my
league.

The "Remember password" option does not work on the su dialog.
Wishes for the TZ widget: add a map to choose TZ more easily - sort TZ by
Region
