i don't know if we need to keep them open as much as provide a summary list of 
the finished items?

mm... perhaps something right inside the window, or only when the user 
manually calls it forward?

i have a number of ideas for 4.3 (the obvious one being "able to show it in a 
floating window when pulled out")
