for the next kde 4.2 i plan to have a new go at the pannel so that we make it 
heven more coerent with the desktop. 
this 4.1 version i consder trasitory, but clearly showing a path...

btw if we introduce colors in the theming people will start asking to make it 
configurable so i would refrein from using difrent colors in the theing and 
try to keep it monocromatic...
